We were asked to come up with a concept for this open courtyard that gave us 8 sections to design for. The work had to be interesting and feel right for the rather delicate structure that supported a large gazebo. We alternated male and female Sun Faces representing the four winds in terracotta with a Trellis to support ivy and morning glories. Birds cast their shadows as they raced around in their painted reality.
