Sketching from life was one of the earlist expressions that I picked up from imitating a chess playing friend of my fathers who loved to draw in contour line. Drawing people is a constant thread in the weaving of my art.

Nora is a cousin's daughter and a favorite with us. She is emerging into her new found adulthood with great spirit.
