In 1988 Leo and I were in Italy eating dinner out on the patio and the way the buildings were lit up gave me inspiration for this series.

Spoleto Tower is my tribute to a hilltown where we lingered for awhile. I have great fondness for this place and for the way the town tucks into the hills where St. Francis walked.
