I love to build up form in clay. I then fire the dried work and finish the piece with paint. Since I am coming from years of working with acrylics, I feel I have more control over the results with paint, rather than using glazes.

Birthday horse was a composite done from photos that I loved. My birthday last year was spent in the studio sculpting and he was my gift to myself.
