I love to build up form in clay. I then fire the dried work and finish the piece with paint. Since I am coming from years of working with acrylics, I feel I have more control over the results with paint, rather than using glazes.
Marino Marini's Tribute was done after I had done lots of sketches from the late Italian 's work. I also was very inspired after visiting his museum in Florence, Italy which was full of horses.
