This series of painted ceramic sculptureis hand built and then fired after drying and I finish with acrylics since I feel more comfortable with them than using glazes.

This piece was done after many years of admiring French Medieval sculpture. We had been to Musee Cluny in Paris and I loved the way they displayed the King's heads and wanted one for myself.
